Sometimes I feel so needy and am pretty sure the Heavens are getting sick of my nagging, but in all that I am lacking, there is a lesson to be learned of the great opportunities of this time. I learned a micro lesson this week of "making my own happiness" (inspired by Shannon and Shirley Temple).
In my efforts to pursue the above requests, I realized, wow, what an opportunity to be in one of my most favorite places in the world with absolutely no time, work, or really any defined commitments. So, until my simple requests are delivered or discovered, I will still work on those part time while I also play part time. So here are a few of my simple adventures as of late.
Arburetum Gardens, this is a must for anyone who comes to town...I found the garden of Eden!
Who doesn't love a good jumping picture
It's great be so close to the city where there is an endless supply of art and culture. This is a display of Nick Davis's, featured at the Seattle Art Museum. A friend and I went last week and it was completely awesome!
Ewwww....The infamous gum wall of Seattle. I was able to make my gummy contribution to initiate myself into this grand 'ol place.
It has been a neat blessing to have so many opportunities to share the gospel out here, our Sisters and Elders are great. Here are some of the group at the weekly Missionary booth at Edmond's Community College.
Seattle Zoo (So I really was pointing to the monkey, until the flash went off and you can see him scurrying away behind me)
Until all my wishes come true, I will just keep making life happen!

Nicole! I love you so much and you inspire me to be better. Just the other day I was telling one of my friends about you and about how much I admire your courage to move to Seattle and do exactly what you are doing "finding your own happiness." You are a great example of that. It looks like you are having a great time there and that makes me so happy! I will probably visit your blog often to see what you are up to.
It's YOU who I've learned this lesson from (or at least I'm trying to learn). Life is to be enjoyed, isn't it? I'm so grateful for that...
