Wonderful Christmas Break!

Christmas break, is something to always look forward to, good food, family, generous Santa, sleeping in, never showering before noon, and so many fun memories are created! Here are a few of the highlights this season:

This cute little Christmas surprise is my sister's little puppy. My parents were taking care of it at their house before they were going to surprise my nephew on Christmas morning. The only way to keep the puppy quiet, to not ruin the surprise was to stay with her 24/7. So my sister patiently and lovingly spent much of her Christmas Eve keeping the dog company.
One of the greatest parts of Christmas is seeing family, here is one of my adorable little nephews:

My niece and I singing Christmas carols on Christmas Eve.

We attempted acting out the nativity with all the grandkids this year. To anyone who has never attempted- this is not a reverent activity! But it sure is entertaining! They were so cute all dressed up as Mary, Joseph, wise men, animals, angels, the whole works. Note: the little boy in front is wearing a sheep's ear, not a bow in his hair ;)
Here is Trevor's cute little face on Christmas morning when he got his new puppy!

My parents have learned, over the years, that experiences are more memorable and treasured than gifts. So this year, our experience was to have a night with just the adults and a nice dinner. Almost all of us were there, except for one brother and sister-in-law home with a sick child. It was so fun to have us all there together. Great food and good laughs- it will be an experience to remember, thanks mom and dad!
Merry Christmas!
