Count Your Many Blessings!

Happy Thanksgiving! This year I celebrated with my extended family at my grandparents home in Provo, here is a picture of my dad and me enjoying some pie.

This has got to be one of the best holidays ever. Amazing food, family, football, naps, turkey, pie, its fabulous! Top 10 things that I am especially grateful for this year:

1.) The gospel that brings peace come what may!

2.) Amazing family

3.) Wonderful apartment of girls, filled with love, laughter, and happiness!

4.) The guidence of the spirit when the rest of the world can be confusing.

5.) The opportunity to be at BYU getting an education

6.) My health and strength

7.) Warm place to live and a fridge full of food.

8.) The many fun experiences I get weekly

9.) Friends

10.) Laughter

There are so many things to be grateful for, but these are some things that stand out today. If we just stand back and observe our lives and our blessings, we could never be depressed. I ran across this quote on gratitude this week:

"Sobered and humbled by the grandeur of the Restoration and all that it brings to us, there should be times when you and I leave tears on our pillows out of gratitude for what God has given us." -Neal A. Maxwell

What a beautiful quote. Elder Maxwell always said things so nice - thanks for that reminder and for sharing your blessings with us - it reminded me of some of the things I was grateful for!
