Well if you look at all of your blogs, this is probably a very true statement. I think we just grew up believing that National Holidays were put into place for tearing out, cleaning, building, or inventing. It is a time when family's gather together to put up sheet rock, lay sod, install electricity, or simply build a home. We always like to get as much out of our Holidays as possible, so usually we celebrate clear into the night, by continuing the projects beyond normal sleeping hours. But it is only natural to top things off with a cold root beer float. Sound familiar?
I think part of our family creed, if we had one, would say something like, if I can pay someone else to do it, then we certainly can do it ourselves.
Thanks mom and dad for teaching us good work ethics!
It's nothing big, but this is my minimal project of late. Its not quite done, it still needs a border and some snipping. But it's close! (sorry about the weird angle of the picture :) )

Itsn't that the truth! We have fun though, right? Your quilt looks darling!
Looks great. I'll be sure to show Ruby the picture.
The actual quote directly from Allan is, "if a high school fluncky can do it, then I can". We are thrilled with all the things our children CAN DO! We do however, miss them doing jobs around here! :)
