Dance Ensemble Auditions

My dear family and friends!
Sorry this is so impersonal to send a mass email to all of you. But I wanted to thank you all for the love and support I have felt leading up to these dance auditions! I am so blessed with the best friends and family! But unfortunately, I did not make the dance team. Yeah, I was pretty bumbed, but I feel a lot of peace and I know the Lord knows whats best for me. I have no doubt that where one door closes, another one opens! I just feel very grateful for the opportunity and I have way too many blessings to count than to dwell on this one disappointment. Today I did recieve a personal email from the coach which meant a lot. He was very kind and expressed his appriciation for my work and asked me to audition again for the next team after taking one more technique class. So will just keep working and audition again for Winter semester! It's kind of funny, but I used to never think I was a competitive person. But with every rejection, yeah it stings a little, but it just makes me more determined to push even harder! I still have the major auditions in November (I like to think of things like these auditions as good publicity) so I will just focus on getting ready for that! So now I just stand up, brush off the dirt and press forward!
