After returning home from the reunion, I did a quick pack for Idaho. I feel like I have been living out of my suitcase a lot this summer- it's been so fun. But I'm glad that I can sleep in my own bed again. My last week of EFY was the best ever, my girls were so easy to love. They were so good and accepting to the spirit, it allowed me to just relax more and have fun. These girls really made my job so easy. Knowing that it was most likely going to be my last week, I just gave it my all. I felt like I got the most out of every lesson, devotional, class, activity, dance, and each moment with my girls. This week my group, "Before the World Was" won the service award, hence the rake in the pictures. These are a few of the kids in my group doing the coloring service activity.

It is always so refreshing to be on campus at BYU-Idaho where the spirit is so strong and constantly doing activities that invite the spirit. This week they decided that close-toed shoes are required at the dances, so some of my girls and I decided to where our tennis shoes to the dance, where some of the girls were frustrated at first because they couldn't wear their really cute shoes, it turned out being way fun.

I also included a picture of the Galley- that's the cafeteria we eat at for EFY- so many memories have been made there of playing with food, deep-deep-fried chicken, bowls of cereal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner when nothing else looked edible, but always an amazing dessert bar!

There was one day, Shannon (one of my co-counselors) and I had to get off campus for a little bit, so we splurged and got some blizzards from Dairy Queen. It was a fun break from the world of EFY. We felt like missionaries anytime we left campus, with our name tags and bright orange shirts, we really stood out and everyone knows who we are and what we represent. Its kind of fun. Shannon and my other Co-counselor Derek were awesome to work with, we laughed a lot and learned a lot together.

This week I really felt my Savior's love for me and for each of his children. I love so much, the theme for this year, Power in Purity. I have learned so much about the literal power of mind and virtue and learning to rely on the power of the Spirit and our Savior. I am so grateful for the chance I had to be a part of the lives of these youth and a part of EFY!

I think it is so cool that you had the opportunity to do this EFY group and I'm SO glad that you've had such a fun summer. We're excited to see a little bit more of you this weekend at the cabin!
