The Beautiful City of Nauvoo

The last month of my life has been CRAZY! But so much fun. I had the opportunity to go to Nauvoo with Tanner and his family. It was fun to get to know his family more and also experience Nauvoo. It is such an amazing city, so rich with history. We got to go to many of the little homes and sites. Some of the highlights were the Temple and CarthageJail , the spirit is so strong in so many of the places there. We also got to go to many of the evening shows, some done by the performing missionaries, some by the couple missionaries, and the best was the Nauvoo Pageant. The pageant was so amazing, the performers were so talented...lots of singing and dancing, I loved it! Anyone who goes to Nauvoo can feel the neat spirit that is there- the saints just come to life as you hear so many of their stories. They truely knew the meaning of sacrifice. We are so blessed in our lives with so many luxuries and conveniences. I hope that I can be as dedicated to the Lord as the saints that came before us.
