I feel like there are so many shifting factors in my life, everything feels so up in the air. Yet, I feel a sense of security. The words of the song, "Lead Kindly Light" have often crossed my mind these last few months. We want so badly to see the whole picture, to understand our potential, to have all the answers, but unfortunately faith doesn't work out that way. I am learning to lean on the arm of the Savior. Day by day, I can only make one decision at a time until the whole picture is unveiled in the Lord's timing.
Lead, kindly Light, amid th’encircling gloom, lead Thou me on!
The night is dark, and I am far from home; lead Thou me on!
Keep Thou my feet; I do not ask to see
The distant scene; one step enough for me.
Please bless me with peace and patience :)

you know, i don't think i've ever truly read the words (i generally can't sing well, so i'm struggling to sing the right notes haha). what a beautiful message!
I think of this song often too, Nicole. Let's talk soon because obviously there is more to this. Love you layne! (remember when we'd always say that?!)
Love that song! I hope and pray you will be continually guided.
You do feel 'far from home' in Sandy, but not far from our thoughts and prayers.
